Multicultural Competence within organizations

Throughout the month of November, Legacy Consultants have been engaged in work with organizations to help enhance multicultural competence. Our team has continued to facilitate conversation around this subject and how diversity, equity, and inclusion can strengthen the work environment. Our team believes that becoming a multiculturally competent individual is not only an ongoing journey that is smart for business, it is the right move to co-create positive change in the occupational domain. Internship Fair at Illinois Wesleyan University

Dr. Cedric Williams and Dr. Paul Flores represented Legacy at a local internship fair at Illinois Wesleyan University in Illinois. Legacy extends its appreciation for hosting a place to meet so many bright individuals and looks forward to the Spring Internship Cohort of 2022. In 2019 we began our internship program. Since that time we have had 19 interns that come from Illinois Wesleyan University, Columbia University in New York, University of Southern Indiana, and the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana. Speaking engagement with Istation

This month Dr. Cedric Williams was invited to be the keynote speaker for Istation. Istation is a e-learning firm that has over four million users around the globe. Dr. Williams spoke about cultural representation and multicultural competence in digital learning and the importance in seeing yourself through positive visual representations. He also spoke on ideas of how visual representation ties into inclusion within organizations.
